Show & Tell
     Guests are encouraged to bring projects to share with guild members.

Show and Tell is held every guild meeting.  Members and guests bring in both finished and in-progress quilting projects to share with other guild members.  It's a great way to see what creative ideas others have and get acquainted with new techniques.

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD BOOK

Pick out your favorite childhood book and make a quilt.

Size:   18 x 18

The name of the book must be incorporated into the design of the quilt.

Must use some form of embellishment.

 

The Winners are:

Best Workmanship: (What you don't see here is that this is a book - inside is Heidi's dress!

Best Interpretation of the Theme:

Quilter's Challenge (2007-2008) 
      Participation in this event is open to all current guild members

Penn Oaks m & m

 

-Participants will draw three paint color chips from the basket.

-The colors of these chips are to be used somewhere in the Challenge Quilt.

-The quilt theme is "Milestones & Memories".  The chosen milestone or memory may be an event from your past or a historical event you would like to commemorate.

-The drawn paint chips are to be displayed with the finished quilt along with your short story about the quilt theme.

-The finished quilt size shall be 20 inches by 24 inches.
